Transeo currently provides shared services for rail customers in the UK and France and for non-rail customers in the wider transport market across the UK.
Customers include the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC) for whom Transeo operates its National Rail Communications Centre (NRCC), a round-the-clock information management and control service. This service provides the management of information about disruptions to rail services across the UK, with data sourced from train operators and Network Rail. The NRCC presents this to rail passengers through self-service channels and through the National Rail Enquiries contact centres. The NRCC works closely with passenger operators producing promotions information on tickets and fares, and co-ordinates engineering schedules and reporting to ATOC, the Department for Transport, the Office of Rail Regulation and the full range of media channels, including the BBC.
